This, I believe, buck rabbit was enjoying a nice liesurely rest in the deep shade at the Huntington Gardens last year. It just looked so content and happy. Canon 60D, f5.6, 1/1250 sec, iso 640, -1.3 exp bias, 100-400 ISL lens at 400 mm. I know I probably shouldn't have kept the exposure bias for a shot in the shade, but it was a pretty bright day. Thanks for looking.

A very relaxing scene and an excellent capture, ED.  The focus is right on it's eyes where it needs to be and there's lots of nice detail, especially in the large version.

This is a nice photo!   I really like the relaxed  pose of the rabbit, great color and detail.  The only thing I can think of to improve this photo would be to tone down the rocks in the LLHC.  They do distract a bit.  Thanks for sharing.

I find this to be quite the beguiling pose.    Only wish would have been to not have the bright sunlit spots, challenging your exposure choices.  Depth of field control is spot on.

I am hoping this toned down the bright spots enough. I also tried to lift the shadow a bit more. Thanks for your suggestions.
