Infinite Power

I took this during a snowfall in a place called Viote in the Italian Alps. The day before, a wet snowfall covered this little puddle made by melted ice. I was attracted by the drawings that are the result of a mix of ice, water and snow on a dry meadow. I love how nature keep surprising us, over and over again with an infinite power.
Comments and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Very creative!! I would have walked past this spot without paying it any attention. You have turned it into a piece of art. No complaints, I like it as it is.

This is a puffy little beauty, Mattia.  I might take the time to clone some of the more noticeable grasses and specs, particularly the stalk bottom right, the stalk laying down on the right side, and the spec top mid frame right.  Very imaginative image.

Mattia,

Most certainly unique and fascinating.  I kinda have a different impression.   One of my first thoughts was a cut-away view of brain... or a window in to the brain... Apologies if that ruins anyone's view of this. winkangelcool

No nits or suggestions really. The only thing perhaps is cloning the dark spec along the top; I'd leave the rest of the grasses poking through.

Funny that Lon said it looks like a brain. That was my thought exactly when I opened it up. It is well composed and executed, but I am not quite sure what to make of it.

Great eye to distil this down to such a simple yet thought provoking shot.  I passed a similar scene while cross country skiing near a swamp area that had not completely frozen.  Looks like an anatomy view.  Very cool.  Feels a little tight on the sides and bottom, but very minor.  Wonderfully presented and found.

Interesting patterns and color contrast. It has an abstract quality. I agree about cloning out that speck. I do wish for more detail in the snow at the top. Very interesting image.

This is intriguing - it has me wondering what is causing the yellow coloration.  The patterns in the ice are interesting as are the blades of grass sticking up through the ice.  It is perhaps a bit too tight on the right and left side.

I think it's very cool and I like the infinity symbols fomed by the gaps/ bubbles in the ice.  That colour of water appears in Scotland a lot from the peat in the water so I can see where that might come from.  Love the border snow detail and the sprigs of grass through the snow but agree a touch more space would help the framing.
