Alberto, I really like the soft and moody light, especially on the grass and the Junipers. While I like composition as it is, I believe it would be stronger if some of the sky was cropped out. The color and detail look very nice.

Alberto,

I too really like the soft light, including in the sky; although I think the sky could use a wee bit boost in contrast? Not so much to ruin the mood though.

I'm a bit unsure with the foreground sandstone.  It's a little split,  50/50 and so I'm not quite sure what the attraction is.  I do like the lead-in of the soft ridge coming in from the left.  But the vegetation is a little lost in the soft shadow of the rock on the right. I'm wondering if a crop off the left would take that center divide off center for a stronger comp.  I'm going this direction because for me, I wouldn't crop the sky.

After reading Lon's comment, I agree with his suggestions, along with not cropping the sky.

Alberto, This is really beautiful. The light here is just wonderful and I'm very much enjoying the composition as it is. Great looking colors in this.

Alberto,

A subtle, but very effective crop. At least for me.  thanks for taking the time to rework and repost.

I think the repost is a good improvement. Nice warm soft lighting. The leading line works well to pull me through to a nice sky, along with the intersecting slopes. Nice image.

Hi Alberto,

I really like the idea of leaving the sky as uncropped, and then cropping from the left over to the right before the tree. I like the repost, and the leading line in the rock wall is a nice aspect to this image. I think the image works for me a nice view with some sweet clouds up top.

This feels like it's Capitol Reef, but I reckon it could be anywhere in central Utah. I think the cropped repost works better, but to me, the low perspective isn't quite working here.  The sky is nice, but is it nice enough to carry it's weight?  That's what I keep asking myself. I think it works better if there were no terrain at all on the right side.  Sort of slab, crack, junipers, and sky.  Hope that makes sense.  My .02 anyway.
