Moose Parade

OK, maybe not that believable, but here is a sequence of a young bull in hot pursuit of a lovely mother moose with a calf at her side. I threw in an extra side of young bull moose. Not sure what all of the specs for each of the three photos stitched together for this is, but they are similar to this one. Canon Rebel XT, f5.6, 1/1000 sec, iso 400, 320 mm (100-400 ISL), HH, some cloning of unruly gravel mound in lower bottom right, and a few OOF leaves in the lower left. Thanks for your comment and suggestions.

Hi Ed,

Looks good with extra moose added for good measure. You are probably one of the few who have successfully pulled off a moose pano. well done...........................Jim

Wow, 4 moose is one shot, although, if I understand correctly, the two males are actually one male in consecutive shots.  A moving critter pano is quite the catch, Ed.  The details and colors in the larger view are great.  Very well done.

Not easy to deal with big moving mammals in a pano set. A odd set of moose, in my experience: a bull, a cown and a one year old calf.

Very interesting pano, Ed!  A cow, a calf, a bull and an alternative bull enlightened  Good job with the stitching, especially considering the situation.

Very cool!   And it looks like you had fun taking it.  Looks like you were pretty close and it's a good thing they didn't turn and come your way...

I thought I would go ahead and add another view of the same subjects from just a bit earlier in their parade across the gravel roadway. The young bull at least looked both ways before crossing. So you get four for the price of three again. The young bull was a real character. The cow was pretty much ignoring it, while it was singing a wonderful soulful song and blowing bubbles in the pond earlier to try to impress her.
