Beautiful bird, captured well.
I was going to suggest making a head and shoulder portrait, but the large image is a bit soft, so i think you're at your pixel limit already.

Sharron,
A very interesting image of a bird I have never seen.
I think it could improve with a little touch of sharpening.

This looks pretty good, although I think it could use a touch more sharpening.  Try using "smart sharpen" set at 3%, and apply it 2 or  3 times.   On the large version I see a small white spot floating midway between the end of the bill and the left wing that I'd remove. I like the composition and the lighting as it is.  Very nice. devil

Really nice, Sharon.  Ordinarily, I don't care for oof foregrounds, but this is so soft that it makes for a great mood.  Excellent detail in the vulture.  You might try taking a bit off the top to see if you like it-it seems to work better that way to me.  I'll be the dissenting voice here and say that I don't think much sharpening is appropriate because it would clash with the soft foreground.
