Hi Ken
Thats  what might be called a flight shot ! Great stuff.!
Sprayed water on the left helps it too.

Amazing action shot. I love the hind legs, stretched all the way out, and the splash of water.

What is not to like?  Love the perfect timing of your shutter and the great extension of the lechwe.  The little bit of exposed water just under the front legs is a real bonus in terms of adding interest and sense of  location.  Thumbs up, Ken.

Oh, this isn't dull at all to me.  I would love to see this, and especially if, as you said, you found lots of them doing this.  Something about this image looks magical.

One of the better Lechwe shots I've seen Ken!
I do think you can slice some off the top to get rid of the bright patches coming through there?

Great action - love the flying water drops.
Personally, I'd clone out the bright spots in the top left/middle bushes, and burn the river a bit.
Congrats on a fine image and WP!

Ken, congrats on the WP.  This is quite a moment.  The pose and trailing spray are wonderful.

Excellent timing and a great action capture, Ken! The blurred but recognizable background provides the environmental context but still isolates the animal.  Well done!devil
