Sony 77II, Illustration Mode
Minolta 200mm macro
ISO 200, .6 secs @ f32

They say that the sincerest form of flattery is imitation. Patricia Brundage has long been one of my favorite photographers and when I saw her recent WP I was intrigued as I shoot Sony cameras as well but have never availed myself of the in-camera artistic effects. Truth be told I didn't even know my A77II had such capabilities.angry I decided to play around with one of my tulips and got this which really tickled me. I kind of burst out laughing when it showed up on the view screen. Thanks Patricia for opening another door for me. All comments welcome. >=))>

Bill, This worked out great. Cool stuff for sure and it looks like opening a new door can be a good thing! I like this.

Watch out Bill this mode works great on flowers, barns and houses with character, cascading water, and even some scenes.  This tulip really took to the creative mode well.  The composition you chose is also different and interesting.  Have fun with these artistic modes.  Some work well... others not.  I found I now carry two cameras.  The Sony for the artistic mode and the Canons for straight shots.

When Patricia brought up the question about her image and where to post it, I couldn't believe a camera could do such a thing.  I think that is completely awesome, and I think it really worked well here.  Congratulations on new frontiers!
