Jaguar on the Move

Here's one from our Brazil tour earlier this year, this Jaguar had a run at a caiman that was on the beach, I used the 300 in the hopes of getting both in but the caiman swam off before the Jaguar could get to it and before I was able to get both in the same frame.

Hey Nate,

Real solid shot. It's obvious that the jaguar is focused on "something" and even before reading your description I wondered what was the source of the stalk/pursuit. Very cool. No nits from me...

Cheers...

Brad

You captured the powerful stride of the jaguar.  You can tell he is in pursuit of some poor victim.  Must have been wonderful to have witnessed this.  Great image.

Nate: there's no doubt that the jaguar is focused on something and what a great action shot as well. Congrats! Richard

Nate,
A really good shot of the action, the 300 mm f4 is a totally underrated lens, perfect for hand-holding

I like the sense of action here. Very nicely executed considering that it's a handheld shot.
