Female Bufflehead

I went down to Capitol Lake about 10 days ago in hopes of some duck action.  There wasn't much, but I did like the looks of the water around this female Bufflehead.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600 mm, hand held, f/8, 1/1600, iso 800, manual exposure (hoping for flight shots).  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped to 16.6 MP before resizing.  Taken at 10:53 AM on January 14th.

Comments and criticisms are always welcome and appreciated.

Thanks,

I love all the little water drops and the way the duck colors match the colors of the water.  This is a very cute duck.

She is cute Dennis. Sharp detail and the water and reflection are very nice.

Too bad the males get all the attention. The females are pretty also. Really like the detail in the larger version. The reflections adds to the image also. Well done.

She is indeed cute Dennis. Nice colors in the water and nice detail in the duck. Love the look in her eye.
