WC#770- Winter

This is our winter (sometimes)  on the Southern Oregon coast. It snows a few inches once or twice a year at sea level, but is generally quite mild. Usually, there are sunny blue skies and about  45-50 degrees.
Sorry, I know this isn't making me any friends!

But I grew up on Lake Erie, and had plenty of snow for 18 years. I've paid my dues.
Image taken from our deck. (LOVE it here!)

Nothing like a good storm in the southern Oregon coast.   Looks like the storm is moving to the left.

I like the wave action, Sandy.  Nice winter seascape.  It does look a bit crooked on the horizon.

Dennis, I didn't know what to do with the horizon - if I straightened the horizon, the little lighthouse became markedly off-level.
Ideas?

Nothing need be done to try to correct the "tilt".  It can't be done. Not only are Oregonians are a bit tilted to the left, but so is the Pacific Ocean on its coast. It's just the nature of things. Nice image, by the way.

Nice stormy sea. I think this depicts really well the power and insistence of an ocean storm. It takes a little from it that there is an almost 1.7° tilt CCW.enlightened Solution: cut, clone over the position. straighten the horizon, then paste the the little lighthouse and whatever that other thing is.

I'm not sure how to fix it, though Phil's suggestion might work.  It makes me wonder if the "lighthouse" is a buoy?

Nice image regardless.

The "lighthouse" - the square-ish thing - is the channel marker and a light with solar panel. It's  on the end of the jetty, not in the water - so not a buoy. The other thing is newer, also on the jetty, and some type of communication thingy. I guess I should ask and find out, since I see them every day!
Phil's idea might work, but all that manipulation would require posting in Photo Art (wouldn't it?)

The big wave action looks good, Sandy.  Lots of action in the lower half that's contrasted nicely with the calmer offshore water and the gray sky.  The water's horizon may be tilted, but those two structures are standing straight.

Sandy, just a thought here. Have you tried to skew the photo by dragging the top left upward?
