This is outstanding! Very moody and mysterious. Processing looks great.

Excellent.  I love everything about this, the rays, sunstar, and wonderful framing.  The only thing I could suggest is to clone the few bright spots in the bottom right.  Very nice.

Beautiful work, Jagdeep. There have been several images recently with this idea and this is as good as any. One ption I would consider would be to raise the very darkest shadows to show more detail, such as in the closest tree.

Jagdeep: you've captured all the elements of a great photo, light subject and composition. Excellent! Richard

Moody shot driven by b/w rather than color.  It can be both hopeful or depressing...depending on the eye of the beholder.

My only suggestion is the bright foreground brush and leaves seem to compete with the starburst.   And too, I like Igor's suggestion to boost the darker portions bringing out more detail.

Nicely done!

Wonderful feeling created with rays and mist.  Nicely balanced, but I do like the wiggly trees on the sides as well. You've wrangled the difficult lighting.

Very nice work!  The lighting obviously sets the tone for the mood, but it also helps to simplify an otherwise chaotic scene.  The tonal range works well for the B&Wednesday presentation.

Jagdeep,

Wonderful!  Forest scenes like this are often the most difficult.  Here, with the sun star and rays, well they tie all the busyness of the forest together.  Yeah, I could see a little more shadow detail in a few of the bigger trees, but that's pretty minor for me.

Well done.

Mysterious.  Almost scary.  (I fully expect some big animal to be wandering around in there.)
Excellent job.  The comp is great, and your processing is spot on.  Bravo!
