Whose Eggs

Looked like a early morning raid on the eggs of some (ID?) insect on a stalk of grass. There was one entire bunch of eggs which was already eaten away by a bunch of ants. By the time I set up, there was just this one ant left. Pulled down the bg a bit ..

Great detail and color, Balan!  I like the diagonal comp and the dark bg.

A fine look at this tiny scene, Balan.  The subjects (stem, eggs, ant) all glow nicely against the dark background.
