One last, at least for now, old photo from Germany.  The city square which held the spire fountain also was the site for a open market.  I was always impressed ( as much as any teen could be) with the amount of flowers on sale.

Maybe taken with a Mamiya C-3. 50+ years ago.

Also, thought you might like to see what I was like way back then.  This photo was taken at the US Army photo school in Ft. Monmouth, NJ, in the fall of 1961.

John: when I first saw this I thought how unusual that the men are wearing hats. Then I read your post and saw when the photo was taken. Can't imagine that you've changed much since 1961.  cool  Richard
