A funny story with this one. I was driving home a different way, and saw this field full of bluebirds next to some new houses.
Went back the next day with camera. Looking around for birds for 20 min with NO luck, and this little kid comes up and asks me "what are you  doing?"
I told him I was looking for bluebirds,  but I couldn't find any.

He was quiet for a few seconds, then said   "What about THAT one,  right there?",  pointing to his mailbox about 15 feet behind me.

That's very funny Sandy.  In hockey and basketball there are assists and for some photographic events, assists are always welcome when trying to find that subject.  The colors are bright and make for a fun scene.  The light orange BG sets off the blues perfectly...............................Jim

Sandy: that's really a wonderful capture. The pose, the background and the perch couldn't be better. Reminds me of a Rockwell cover. It needs to be seen large and to be printed large. Richard

Sandy, That is a fun story! Bluebirds are a favorite small bird for me and you captured a wonderful shot of this one. Nick
