Kids playing in Germany

This was taken in Nuremburg.  The fountain these children are playing on was originally to be the spire on the church on the square, but was left on the ground and made into a fountain.  These children are all grown up now and in their 50's & 60's.

Taken with a Kalimar 6 SLR scan from print.

John: that's an absolutely wonderful image of an earlier time. I love seeing how the kids took pleasure in such a very simple pass time. The short pants on the boys and the simple dress of the girl say yesteryear. Your photo definitely captures a long gone era. Great! Richard

This series of your ld photos is going to be facinating - a look back in time many have never seen.

Love the joy of simple pleasures on their faces, nd especially the little guy on the fence - no matter the nationality, kids will be kids.

The images in this series are fascinating. The one of the nuns and castle, and this one remind me Henri Cartier Bresson's images, in that they capture the 'decisive moment'. Nicely done. Looking forward to more, John.

A most charming image, John.  The absorption of the children in their various activities comes through strongly.
