Gerald,

Lovely light striking the sandstone; the light is strong, but well controlled and exposed.  The lead-in lines are terrific - a classic view.  I like the complimentary clouds in the sky, light and whiffy, not too overbearing.  I do wish the contrail wasn't there... but then that's just life in landscape photography.

No nits really. Some color variation in the sky/clouds (a little magenta perhaps up top/left. but hard to tell withough the larger view.

You have a bold foreground with great lines that lead the viewers eye to the canyon walls in the background.  For my tastes the sky is too dark, though.  I would also recommend cloning out the contrail.

I would also encourage you to comment on others' images.  I have found that commenting on other images has helped me in the learning process.  I know it can feel a bit intimidating when you are new, but this is a great community of photographer's so don't hesitate to jump right in!

Nice Snow Canyon image, Gerald.  I drive through the park nearly everyday...one of my favorite loops.  I'll echo Brian's advice to comment on other images.  It is the very best to learn and share your insights with other photogs.  Good to see some images from Southern Utah.

Wonderful image, Gerald.  The strong leading lines and the sloping FG/MG are great.  From a "purest" standpoint, cloning out the contrail would be a good idea, easy enough to do.

I can't add anything to the previous comments. This is an excellent image. Really well composed. The color is excellent as well, although I find the effect of the polarizer a bit strong in the upper corners. One more vote to clone out the contrail.
