Wisconsin Eagle

I was lucky to find this eagle, and many more, feeding on a couple of fish on the frozen Mississippi River.  The fish was too large to carry off, so this guy was forced to eat it on the ice. That was good for me, as all the other eagles tried to move in on the meal. It made for some interesting shots of fights and scuffles. Processed using Lightroom CC (2015) and Photoshop CC (2017) along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Wow, great image!
Perfect perspective, to get the eagle's talons, head, and eye in view, even with the head down, a great look at the fish, eating behavior, and the icy BG. Fine feather detail too

Wow!  Nice capture.  Exposure looks perfect and the action/behavior tells the story.

Really nice detail in this Jerry. Great comp and everything looks sharp, just a cool (literally) capture of the action. I'll be waiting for more also.  devil

Really nice image behavior wise.  I like the fact that you could see right into the fish.   And it almost looks like the Eagle is looking not only at the fish but at you.  A very neat picture.

Excellent, detailed capture with a perfect exposure that shows all the details and textures of the white feathers, Jerry!  The large version is amazing and really shows of the clarity of the shot.  Very nice!
