Some interesting shadows on the "sand" in this image, Sandy.  I like the composition with that neat tree in the foreground.

Hello Sandy,..  could have been snow scene if not seen the dunes..The sun has provided an excellent rendering of shadows within  the sand, I really like the zig-zag pattern in the shallow shadows,. Looking at larger version is a Must-See! In distance a very nice Cloud capped mountain, adds nicely  to the capture!

The shadows set off that lone tree well here, Sandy.  I also like the overall brightness and how well it shows off the sand.
