Hi Bill,

A very cute pose with the ears perked up and facial expression.  I would reduce the saturation of the green grass as my only suggestion. Comp is quite good.  Other than that--Well done shot from a zodiac..........................Jim

Great, alert pose - fine fur detail and view of the face.
I agree the bright green is a little over-saturated.
Very nice image!
Did you get a glimpse of any of the white bears?

Hello Jim, Sandy ....Really appreciate you taking time to view and comment !
My first time in the Khutzeymateen a few years ago,( early springtime)  It was overcast , rainy, and much snow still present in the mountains and snow down to the waters edge. I was really awe struck by the beauty of this " Valley of the Bears", when tide is out ( 24 ft. tide at times) the sedge grasses are evident and growing fast,  With this fast growth and washing of the salty tides the greenery is something Very Special  to witness, Overcast is best time to see Saturation extreme in the fresh growth. The Lichen ( Methuselahs Beard) hanging like a steroid spiders web from the Sitka Spruce trees, and the extreme Oxygenated Air together gives you a seemingly high , to be only fully appreciated first hand !  This is  only one of the reasons why I have continually visited the Khutzeymateen  and will continue!

All the Very Best for another exciting 2017   ! :) ...PS...Sandy... About 200 miles south of here is where you can see the Spirit Bears in Great Bear Rainforest... Another Amazing place and experience i would be pleased to explain..Later  .!:)

Bill,
What a great pose and capture, it is always difficult from something as unstable as a Zodiac.
Toning down the green would undoubtedly greatly improve this devil

Neat shot of this girl, William.  I know this has been discussed before, but unless the subject of the photo is primnarily the lush nature of the setting, the overwhelming green saturation takes attention away from the bear.  My personal choice would be to de-saturate greens even is this is exactly as remembered in real life
