Impressive as any cathedral, this austere desert landscape calls for reflection and contemplation. I was so blown away with the view that I mistakenly shot at iso 400 rather than the iso 100 that I had planned.

This is indeed, quite the landscape, Paula.  Amazingly desolate and corrugated.  I'm enjoying the overall blue tones with the fine touches of color that show so well in the larger view in the upper left.  Using the 5D3 at iso 400 introduces very little extra noise relative to iso 100 or 200 (my "standard" iso setting).

I like the clarity of this image and the diagonal lines of the stream running from right to left (downstream).  Very nice textural context, form, and color.  This needs to be seen large.

A very impressive landscape, Paula.  I certainly see why you liked it.  When I look at this, particularly in the larger version, my eye is immediately drawn to the red and pale colors at the top of the image and it doesn't want to go back down to the foreground.  I think this might be more powerful if you cropped a bit off the top.  There's  a bowl just past the major horizontal scarp and when I play with the image and crop just above the bowl it seems to work better for me.  Just a suggestion from my slant.
