Finally a different species!  Though not that different.  We had a lot of these this past summer and then they were replaced by House Finches in the fall.  I'm happy to see this one back, and I believe there was also a female today.

7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600, Jobu Gimbal mounted to blind window, f/11, 1/500, iso 800, aperture priority, pattern metering, -1/3 EV.  Sunny skies as David Schoen mentioned.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped to 18.7 MP before resizing.  Taken at 10:15 AM today.

Comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks,

Beautiful shot, Dennis.
Nice perch, bird in a great position, with clean bg. Well done.

Very nice image Dennis.  Clear with nice color balance and detail.  The background makes it stand out nicely.  The light is quite pleasant.

Cool species.  Nice light and pose.  Complimentary background.  Consider cropping a little off the top?
