Banking Eagle

This photo was taken this past summer in Alaska and I've finally gotten around to processing it. Better late than never I guess. enlightenedTaken with a Nikon D500 and 80-400 lens at 1/2500, f/7.1, Auto ISO at 220 and cropped to abut 3/4 of original. Richard

I think this image has a lot of drama in it.  The blue of the sky, the twist of the eagles head, the angle of its body all makes for a very dramatic photo.  The detail is good also.  Thanks for sharing.

This is a very fine image.  Great pose and implies a lot of power and motion.

There is a blue color cast showing on the eagle, particularly on the wing that is most visible.  I did a quick selection of the eagle and put a color balance adjustment layer with a the shadows adjusted to remove 25 points of blue.  It really brought the colors back in line for the wings.

Nicely captured!!

I love the bg sky and the angle of the Eagle, Richard.  The image feels a little unbalanced to me-maybe a tiny bit more canvas on the left?

A very dramatic pose. There is very much a sense of muscular flight. I also agree with Keith and Dennis.

Very nice.  I like the effect of the clouds.  Great pose as well.
