Beautiful image, Ian. May be my favorite of your recent fall woodland images. The curving branches and flowing leaf canopy give them image a fine, artistic touch.

Ian, I'm really enjoying this image and I think it is my favorite of your recent post. I love this composition with that branch coming across the upper part of the scene. The fall colors are always so inviting and the leaf covered ground is wonderful. This image makes me wish I was there with camera in hand as it looks like a beautiful place to photograph, and that is thanks to your image. Very nice work capturing this.

Ian, I love the framing. I've to know this location. Will send you an email later, looks like a lovely walk.

It's very obvious you carefully crafted the composition here and it works wonderfully.  All the elements mesh so nicely together and the color really brightens it up.

The DOF is well handled here. There is good detail from the front branch to infinity.

Ian,

Love the canopy here with the backlighting of the leave.  However, I'm gonna be different and say this isn't my favorite.  Nothing wrong per se, this is a lovely autumn image.  For me though, the composition and scene is kinda blocked by the canopy. In other words, I think there are some interesting things going on in the bg, but I feel things are a little blocked.  And so with that, I'd like to see more filling of the frame with the drooping branch and leaves. As is I'm torn between the canopy and leaves, and the rest of the scene.  Still, a quiet and lovely autumn scene.  Just my thoughts.

Another beautiful fall scene. The wonderful carpeting of leaves, plus the yellow and red leaves is the perfect fall scene. As well, you chose an ideal  perspective.
Delightful!

Another fine one in the series. I am enjoying the shapes in the front branch and then the slide back to the almost hidden background.

The mix of colors is wonderful, Ian.  The golden leave up top contrast well with the rusty leaves on the ground, while the peek at the tree trunks adds a good sense of depth.

I like this one a lot.  I really like the contrast between the twisted branches and the straight tree trunks.  Of course that beautiful fall color isn't hurting anything either.  enlightened

The curving branches in this are fantastic, and the light and colors back there in the trees.......really nice.  But those curving branches! They really grab my eye. Cool.

The title sets this up nicely.cool I'm enjoying the way you used the green vegetation on the left, and that twisted tree in the background on the right, to support the main portions of the composition.

I like the feeling of walking through this forest and having to stoop a bit to go under the branches. I would like to see a bit more the tree at the top. also, the lower right corner is little dark, so you might consider bringing it a bit in order to balance with rest of the immediate foreground. The color and detail here is really nice, Ian.

Ian, there is a  lot going on in your image and you connect the diverse elements in a most appealing way for me. I especially like the mighty trunk anchoring the composition together with the curved branches. Your treatment of these autumn colors works very well in my opinion.
