Beautiful bird, has an interesting appearance of shrugging her wings back.  I really like your choice to frame the photo and the color really works to show off the Blue Bird.

Beautiful perch and the bug puts it over the top. It appears a touch bright, especially the perch, on my monitor. I might try lowering the exposure just a little. Great capture regardless.

Nice one, Sandy.  Oddly I think I have a Bluebird image with the same species of bug in it's bill.  Great pose, perch and bg.

Nice catch Sandy. For me everything is working here. The exposure looks good to me and I like the perch and your choice of composition. Backgrounds don't get any cleaner than that, (and it's not blue). Great shot!

The frame is as nice as the bird enlightened... Love the whole setting. I can echo Jerry's comment on the brightness, but other than that a gem ! Cheers, Hans

Nice pose and an exceptional clean, complimentary background.  Bug is a plus.  Not overly bright on my monitor.

Doesn't get much better than this! A simple but very nice portrait of this handsome fellow Sandy.

Perfect pose, excellent detail and a bonus bug!

A Beauty laugh

Hello Sandy, As others have said, Excellent & interesting capture , especially the added bug captured. I think the branch has some bright areas and  a small amount of toning down would make this beautiful capture even more captivating!

Thanks for sharing

The background goes really well with the reddish tones of the bird.  By the way, what is the background?  I like the pose and the added extra of the bug in the beak
