Darkness is almost here

Perhaps one of the noblest beings on Earth. The thought that an idiot with a chainsaw, who doesn't understand the responsibility that comes with voting, can kill a living being who was already 2,000 year old when Brutus killed Julius Caesar reminds me why I feel utter contempt for a large fraction of my species. Didn't mean to get philosophical, but these days I can't help it.

Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar 28-85mm, Sony A7, late October in Nevada. Better large.

Alberto,

The details really pop in the large view - what a gorgeous tree. The depth and sharpness of detail is amazing.

The only suggestions I have would be to crop out the tree along the right edge and in general back off on the cyan, which is prevalent in the rocks.  Otherwise, you've got a real beauty here.

I like this a lot, Alberto. The trees look great with nice detail. You might consider cropping the light-toned tree on the right edge. I like the texture in the stones and the hint of twilight blue in the sky.

Alberto, That is one interesting looking tree and the light and details are wonderful. I agree with Lon and Preston on cropping out the tree on the right edge. The large version is quite impressive to see.
