Another from my recent Bosque trip.  With sunny conditions, in post I used a bit of shadow/highlight to bring out some detail under the wing, added some canvas LHS and cropped to 4:3 aspect.

7D2 400 DO Wimberley I on GT2531, ISO 400 1/1250 f11 0.0EV
(edit) I failed to mention I used the 1.4X

Excellent job on the shadows, Bill.  it's awfully easy to overdo that and this looks just perfect to my eye.  Sweet image.

An excellent in-flight capture, Bill! Love the colors and detail, especially in the large version.  I think you brought out the shadows just enough.

A nice image of the crane Bill.  Nice angle for the bird, nice wing position.  I think images are always enhanced when they are against a background that helps set the context.  Blue sky images don't help with the context.  You still managed a sharp flight shot. Good for you!

I like the shadows in this as they add somewhat to the design aspects of the image.
