The Cheshire plain in northern England, viewed from the sandstone escarpment at Alderley Edge.  The plain, notable for its dairy farming, is bordered to the North East by the Pennine Hills.

A very serene image, Ian. The light perfectly complements the gentle landscape.

A very pleasing view with excellent lighting, Ian!  I would suggest cropping about half the dirt in the foreground as it's a very prominent feature but is nowhere near as pleasant to look at as the rest of the scene.
