Canon EOS 7D Tamron 90mm
1/400 sec;   f/8;   ISO 640
Manual;   Spot metering
LR5, PS6, Topaz DeNoise, Topaz Detail, cropped a tiny bit

Would you crop this differently?  It has basically just a little taken off the right.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Barbara: I would crop this tighter on both sides and especially the right to eliminate the splotchy reddish stuff over there. I might also darken/blur the BG on the left a bit. Really nice clean capture of the flower itself. 2 thumbs up. >=))>

I believe this is a cosmos, Barb. The flower is beautifully captured. I like the comp, though it could be cropped tighter as suggested by Bill. I also agree with Bill that you might also try just blurring and darkening the bg a bit.

Beautiful, Barbara.  The dof seems just right for my taste.  I think this crop works, but if you want to experiment with alternates you could try taking some off the right side.

This is a lovely Cosmos, Barbara!  The color and detail are wonderful.  I like the crop as is.

Hello Barbara, beautiful color and sharp flower center. I might rotate this to vertical and crop from the top to make a square image. Just a thought.

Thank you, everyone, for the feedback.

Here are two different crops.  I actually think I love the rotated square crop.

What do you guys think?

Barb,
Agreed, the rotated comp looks better, more natural.
