Snow Bison

This bison was coming over a small hill after an early September snowfall. I liked the look he was giving me. Processed using Lightroom CC (2015) and Photoshop CC (2015.5) along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Well seen and captured. Nice work getting detail in the head against that bright sky.

This is a great look and perspective Jerry. This reminds me of a visit a few years back when my wife and I got caught out on the trail with a small group of bison coming our way. We just moved as far out of the way as we could and let them come on by.

Hi Jerry,

Your exposure and processing looks good to me, and I like the idea here. But I have to say that the "nature" of the foreground (all those snowy lumps) is somewhat distracting to me. If this were mine I'd experiment with going back to a standard 3:2 aspect ratio via cropping off the bottom.

Cheers...
