Blacktail Between Storms

During an afternoon in Yellowstone where the weather alternated between heavy sleet and bright sun, I happened to catch the sun lighting up Blacktail Deer Creek.  About a half hour later, it was sleeting again. (5D3, 24-70 f2.8 @ 42 mm, f/60 s, f/16, iso 400, tripod and polarizer)

This is beautiful Mark.  The large version is a must see.  There is so much depth and great detail in this.  Well done.

I haven't made it here yet (probably one of the few) but this makes me want to go even more! I feel like I want to walk along that creek for awhile. Nice work Mark!

There is such a nice mood to this, Mark. The color and contrast look spot-on to me. I like how the shadow of the hills on the left add a curve that draws me into the image. Well done!

A lovely landscape, Mark. I like the view down the creek bed, the colors, and the nice sky. Beautiful.
