An HDR shot from April at dusk had a cool sky to work with and blended three images in LR. The running canyons into some steep chaparral is close to what I wanted to capture. Still looking for some better vantage points along the trails and highway.

This is a fine look along this canyon, Stephen.  The canyon winds through nicely and having the turn at the end so the distant mountains form the skyline works well.  It's an amazing sky with all the swirling clouds and colors.  You're processing looks good with a nice brightness balance between the sky and foreground.

Your processing gives a very natural look to me.  I wonder about cropping the top quarter of sky to remove the brighter part and adding some contrast to the clouds.

A very cool sky, Stephen, and the hills do form some nicely fading layers.
