Balan, You dealt with the poor light very well, as this is an excellent image. Tack-sharp throughout, and pleasing colour combination.
I have mixed feelings about the diagonal branch in the upper right.. I think I might clone it out, as it draws my eye a bit.
Fine image!

Beautiful caterpillar! Excellent detail in well handled light. The perch is difficult. A single diagonal stem would be ideal, but my inclination would be to clone out most of the OOF bud. That rascal doesn't so much distract me as it irritates me! The top diagonal branch, as Sandy suggests, could go as well. —Phil

Balan, a fine catch with great details in a neat caterpillar. While I could see cloning out the one stem arcing across the upper right, the oof branches on the cat.'s perch don't both me at all. That "tail" thing at the bottom is a wild bit

Very nice image of a remarkable looking insect, Balan. The vivid color, pattern, and weird thing on the tail all show very nicely. I agree with the suggestions to make the stem in the URC go away.

Hi Balan,
I've only seen adults of this species. The larva has nice details and you handled the low light very well.....................Jim

A cool caterpillar, Balan. The "tail" is awesome. Nice job on the detail and the lighting looks good to me.
