This might be getting a bit old, but this bird gave me so many nice poses that one session that I just keep going back.

7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 484 mm, hand held, f/8, 1/800 iso 800, aperture priority, pattern metering, -1/3 EV.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped to 10 MP before resizing.  Taken at 1:10 PM on August 7th under mostly cloudy skies.

Comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful bird Dennis. Love the series. The ruffled feathers and the intense look are great. Larger version really shows off the detail. Clean, simple composition too. Very nice.

I like the pose here Dennis. It leaves me wondering what is getting his attention.

I like his intent stare and ruffled feathers, this works well with him looking at his intended target rather than the camera, nicely done Dennisdevil

Definitely not getting old, Dennis. This series is great. I really like this one with that intense stare, the alert stance and the ruffled feathers. Awesome shot!!!
