One taken at our friend's farm pond.  The sun was going down so it was a challenge getting everything sharp and well lit. K5 IIs 180 mm f3.5 (1/90 sec at f10, ISO 800) Levels, slight crop for comp........................Jim

Sweet, Jim.  I've always loved the intricate detail in the bodies of grasshoppers and this shows that detail off very well.  Excellent work.

Looks like you succeeded very well at getting all of the hopper sharp, Jim.  The details are outstanding and there are some fine subtle colors in the larger view.
