Juvenile Goldfinch
by Dennis Plank
I spent some time this morning waiting for the Goldfinches to get accustomed to me and start feeding on the Anise Hyssop seeds in our gardens. I don't think it took more than 15 minutes for them to decide the guy with the camera was ok.
7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600mm, hand held, f/7.1, 1/640, iso 1000, aperture priority, pattern metering. Processed in LR5 & CS6. Cropped to 12 MP before resizing. Taken at 10:08 AM under overcast skies. I warmed it up a bit in post processing.
Comments and criticisms are appreciated.
Thanks,
