Another shot from Fort Desoto. I really like all of the white, gray and blue tones in this image. The fish was just a bonus.

Excellent, Matt.  Very good composition and detail, and I do like the palette.

Hey Matt,
Thanks for giving your own critique, I couldn't have said it any better . . .
One sweet image and it has such a wonderful 'Summer-At-The-Beach' feel to it.
Well done . . .  laugh

Thanks for the nice comments Yes Mike, I guess I did kinda critique my own image. OOPS, sometimes I get a little over zealous explaining why I post an image.  I need to remember it's a critique site.

Hi Matt
Nice job on the whites, blacks and the bonus fish.  Keep up the good work.

Nice capture.  Almost like a proud fisherman displaying his catch.  A little more detail in the blacks, but very nice as is.

Always great to get a bird with it's catch, I like the way the fish is hanging down here and the transition between the yellow feet and black legs is interesting.  devil

Great setting for the egret with the waves in the background, Matt. The fish is a fine bonus. Excellent techs.

Fine timing, Matt.  I grew up fishing on the MS coast, and caught these croakers by the hundreds - pretty good eatin' too.  Nice work.
