Elegant, beautiful portrait on this flycatcher, Sandy. The larger versio nshows some pixellation; I'm not sure what that's about.

A lovely portrait, Sandy. Has the look of an illustration. Too bad you didn't have the 500 available as it looks as if you were just a bit short on range in the larger image.

The background compliments this flycatcher perfectly, Sandy. Nice light and a nice pose. The larger version appears to be a tad soft, maybe a large crop. Bummer that your 500 croaked while on a trip!

Nice light and angle, and a great background. I think you can reduce the brightness a bit more, especially in the breast.

Nice light and pose on this one Sandy. Just curious, is this a large crop? Asking because it appears the IQ isn't quite there as most your images. It might be the difference in your lens setup, but not sure since I'm not a Nikon shooter.
