Yun, this is a very striking small bf and a lovely image.  There's a fine coordination between the bf's color and it's surroundings.  Having never seen this species before, I spent some time trying to ID it.  I'm thinking that is most likely a Melissa Blue (Lycaeides melissa), which in one of my field guides is considered a western species with some distribution across the great lakes region.

The butterfly is beautiful and I love the lavender and purple in the bg.  Excellent comp, too.

Interesting and unique take on the usual butterfly image.  The colors are striking and blend beautifully with the butterfly.  Well done.

I really like the pale lilac overall image here Yun. Body and antennae of the BF are great. Just wish the whole wing was as sharp.
