Raindrop Rebounds #4

I thoroughly enjoy going out in the rain and watching what happens on my ponds, especially in early spring or late fall, when the water lily pads have lots of extra colors.  This was taken in a steady rain, with commercial rain jackets (Christmas presents from my wife) for both me and the camera.  However, in the past, I have used a plastic bag with a hole cut in it held onto the len with a rubber band for rain protection.  (5D3, 70-200 f2.8 @ 170mm, 1/200s, f/14, iso 3200, tripod)

Cool designs in the water from the rain enhanced by the colorful lily pads.  Interesting concept handled well.

The patterns in this one are really nice along with the contrasting colors. I really like how the Blacks and whites of the water blend so well with the colors of the lily pads. Good job.

Excellent, Mark.  I really need to try this again.  I spent some time last year at it, but I guess we didn't have a hard enough rain and I was lucky to have one drop in the frame.

I've seen these images of yours in the past, and I still love them all. The round circles, the colors, the textures and mood. Add this to your collection....magnificent!
