Drowsy grebes - II

Dennis had commented on the lack of sharpness in one of the grebes in my last image. Unfortunately I do not have another image of the grebes in that particular pose I can use to create a focal stack. Instead, here's one a few minutes later with both of them sharper (I think).

840mm, 1/1250s@F11, ISO500, -1 Ev, tripod.

Nice side by side poses.  It looks like F11 gave you adequate DOF for both.  I like the low angle and your compositional choices.

HI
The low angle and detail really make the photograph pop.

I agree, this is better with both birds in focus. Terrific point of view and your area of focus makes the birds pop. Nicely done. The eyes have it.

Nice work getting both in focus Govind and I like the low POV.

Very much sharper, Govind.  This is really sweet.  Both of them look tack sharp at f/11.  Given the lack of reflections, I think I'd be tempted to take a touch off the bottom of this one to decenter the birds vertically a bit more.

Beautiful work.

Nice catch of these two with muted earth colors and only the reds of their eyes.
