Happy 4th of July

I thought this would be an appropriate post for today.
This is probably the closest I've come to a Bald Eagle.  It was standing on rocks on a jetty and I was slightly below it on the beach.
I cropped a bit off the top and right side (85%).

Canon 7d II
Sigma 150-600 at 500 mm
1/400 at f7.1
ISO 100

Comments and suggestions appreciated

Very nice, Allen.  Superb detail.  I might have zoomed out a trifle or gone to vertical to get the virtual tail, but that perch works pretty well to allow you to chop it off.

Very nice early light and detail on this bald eagle. Good job with the composition. Looks very nice in the larger image.

Pramod,  thanks for your suggestion.  It's a good idea and I'll give it a try.

Nice light, composition, and pose.  Exposure looks fine to me.  Good detail in both the lights and darks.
