Eye of the flamingo

This image is colorful and has an abstract feel to the comp.  I think you should be able to crop a tiny bit from the bottom and the same amount from the right side to remove the band on the flamingo's leg.  The large version has some impressive detail.  I like that the eyes line up down the centerline vertically.  Overall, I like what you captured in this scene.....................Jim

I really like this composition, John, and I can see where you're going with it.  This is very close.  I see you were at f/18 already, so I'm not sure you'll be able to get that second eye sharp, but you might if you can manually focus somewhere between the two eyes.  It looks like you had plenty of light to work with if you were only at iso 200.  The colors and lines in this image are marvelous.

Thanks for  your comments.  I appreciate them.  What I am trying for is to get 3 flamingo heads in a vertical composition, one behind and above the other.  Might just be impossible to do!  Right now there is only access to the exhibit on 2 of the three sides, as one side has new sod in place.  Of course that may just be the best side to work from!  But, I will keep trying.
