The presence of Rhino in this park is extremely well known via their own website and the internet, nevertheless in order not to upset the few I will not disclose where I took it. On our last visit we saw none and feared the worse this time we saw 16 (12 individuals) so all must be well? The park is patrolled regularly by air.

Hi Ken,

A nice looking rhino--love that big square lip that is characteric of white rhinos.  The overall temperature of the image looks quite warm so this must have been taken at sunrise or sundown......................Jim

You chose an pleasing low perspective, giving plenty of emphasis on his impressive stature.  It is a little too bad that he feet were in the dark of the shadow...but in a few more steps that might be a non-issue! enlightened
