Ran across this guy again. Very approachable, like last time. Processed using Lightroom 6 and Photoshop CC 2014 along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Beautiful with nice detail.  Good perch and background. You're lucky to have these pretty birds to photograph.

The pose might not be ideal but the techs are spot on; a nice shot of America's most colorful bird. The large view is exceptional.

Great look at this colorful species, Jerry. I like the lighting and perch. My only suggestion is to the place the bird a little more to the left.

Nice dof and a beautiful old post he chose to perch on, Jerry.  As in your previous post, the colors are beautiful.

The colors are really nice Jerry. Perfect DOF, and very nice BG. What have you loaded onto those fence posts to attract all of those birds you have been shooting lately.

Ed,

no baiting. I have just been very lucky. It's a long stretch of country road with very little traffic. Great location for photography.

Very nice Jerry, I like the alert pose, I would crop a bit off the top to make it less square which would also move the bird out of the middle of the frame more. devil
