Ice Alaska Kid Slide
by Jim DeWitt
It's 101° F outside and I'm trying to think cold thoughts. Fairbanks, Alaska hosts Ice Alaska, an annual international ice-carving competition. The event always has a children's park, and the park always has an ice slide. This was the slide in 2011. I thought it made an interesting abstract and, above all, it looks cool.
