This is the most Cheetahs I have ever seen at one time, the "cubs" are 14 months old.
Unfortunately they would not pose tidily.

Wow! Amazing capture. That reflection makes this for me.This must have been exciting. Where was this taken? I notice that you used a 1DX Mark II. I just recently got one also. How are you liking the camera?

Ken: I think this is great. Having just the one cub look at you while the others look ahead makes the shot. Having a nice reflection as well is icing on the cake. Hang it. Richard

This is a fantastic shot Ken!  Everything is just right in this presentation, and as Jerry and Richard said, the reflection and the one cub with the turned head really make this superb.  I get a real sense of intense purpose from this moving pack of cats.  Outstanding!

Well, animals just don't do what you want them to do sometimes. However, I feel it is good that they are obviously on the move and at least you've got one of them looking at you. Nice shot, fantastic sighting and I love the reflection!

Grt, Ingrid.

Hi Ken,

Nicely documented...and the reflection definitely adds to the shot. I suspect any expectation to get them to pose "tidily" is bound to lead to disappointment (isn't there some saying about "herding cats?"). enlightened

Cheers...

Glad you were there at the right place and the right time to get this very interesting and unusual image of cheetahs.  The reflection is an added bonus IMHO.  Thanks for sharing.

The "mob" effect makes this work, in my opinion.  Reflections are bonus.  Well done, Ken.
