I believe that this is a Grasshopper Sparrow, but I could be wrong. Cute little guy, regardless. Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014 along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Great look at this secretive sparrow, Jerry. The barb wire is adds nice element to the image. It looks you can get some more details in the breast by reduce the exposure/brightness in the image a bit.

Hi Jerry
There maybe just one small hot spot under the beak, but the exposure look good to on my mack.

A very nice capture and a delightful head turn. I like the pose very much.

I spent some time on the ID. I think you are likely right about the species, but the yellow shoulder and the absence of yellow on the breast throws me off. On the other hand, it's hard to see what else it might be.

Like Jim, I'm a bit troubled by the ID on this bird. I don't recall ever seeing that yellow on the wing edge on this species, But I haven't seen many of them so close and exposed. But as Jim says, it is hard to make this into anything else.

One of my favorite Sparrows (they have such attitude for little ones). I like the head turn and clean complimentary BG. I do feel like this image could use a bit more contrast, the color feels a touch flat to me. Still nice work Jerry!
