Late Spring calico pennants are tiny with a body length of around 1.75 inches.  And they are active during the most breezy times of the day.  This one was of no exception and lucky for me, it chose this perch to rest between bouts of feeding. K5 IIs (1/640 sec at f16, ISO 800). Levels, Luminosity Masks, slight crop for comp............................Jim

A fine capture, Jim.  The pose and sharpness of the df look great.  I'm also enjoying how the overall brightness give a good sunny spring/summer day feeling while preserving the details in the df.

I like the detail in the wing design. Good detail, color and dof.
