Tern to the Fence

I was walking around the Boat Harbor and came upon an Arctic Tern sitting on a fence.  It didn't seem to be too concerned about my proximity so I thought I'd go ahead and capture a snapshot of it.  As I pointed the camera I noticed another tern approaching the fence so I waited and caught that one landing next to the first one.  All the terns are paired up this time of year so I suspect these two were partners.

Excellent capture of the action, Gary. Nicely set and composed against the bg. devil

Another fine action catch, Gary, with the landing bird set off very well by it's sitting partner.

Excellent, Gary.  Great job getting them both in the same focal plane.  You might want to artificially brighten the eyes a trifle to make them pop a bit more.  You have light in both of them, but it's particularly dim in the landing bird and I think a little boost would make it pop nicely from the black mask.
