A Little Clearer

Mum shows herself slightly  less obscured, I am sure a better angle could have been achieved but our guide had no idea of positioning. A good guide is nearly always one of the main requirements to getting a decent imaes gespecially in cluttered areas

Hi Ken,

I like the comp of this one that shows mom watching over her baby.  The foreground vegetation is OK as most animals prefer some concealment.  Mom has an impressive set of  horns..............................Jim

A nice duo.
Well noted on the guide's positioning. Did you try to ask him/her to reposition, giving reasons for your request in terms of photographic angle?

Nice pose by the female.  The OOF branches are unfortunate, but really do not detract overly from the image IMO.  Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the comments.
Morkel,
Unfortunately I have become used to having professional guides in particular my Zimbabwean one, I was taken aback by this incompetence!

Really is too bad about not being able to move to get a clear view.  The poses are quite nice, too.
